Sometime back the boychild and I reconnoitered a trip to the California Train Museum on board the Capitol Corridor, Amtrak’s Bay Area-to-Sacramento line. Next time’s going to be with DadDad, an ol’ timer not too old to remember when the train was the ne plus ultra for the soigné sophisticate traveller. Peanut and I agreed: the museum was great, but it was all about the trip.
